We are shipping for Hub Delivery Only!
Shipping is at our discretion based on temps, weather, type of animal purchased and our ability to drive 1.5 hours to our closest hub for a 4pm drop off time.
We do not ship under 35 or over 85 degrees. Please read the rest of our terms for more info.
We are currently shipping to FedEx Ship Centers ONLY due to so many delays with FEDEX. That is where you as the customer would go to the Ship Center to pick up. We will not ship to your home at this time. IF this does NOT work for you, please contact us before purchasing your gecko.
We need you to pick up at the hub location when they open to the public normally they open between 9 and 10 am. We do not want the geckos sitting at the hub, this is the best for the animal. If you CAN'T be there when they open you must tell us prior to your purchase. Guarantees will not be available to those who can't pick up within the first hour the hub is open unless we were contacted prior!
When you purchase your animal we need to arrange shipping. This can be done through email or Facebook Messaging on our business page. Shortly after you place your order we will reach out to set this up. Please keep an eye on the email you used for your order! We are currently shipping Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with arrival the following day. (If you purchase your animal past a Wednesday, we will not ship until the following week if temps and circumstances allow)
Shipping delays could put your new pet at risk. We will do our best to avoid any dangerous situations and use proper care with extreme heat or cold. A heat pack, cold pack and/or a Phase 22 Cryopack will be included if needed at no extra charge. Your gecko is kept as comfortable as possible on its way to its new home. We also use a smaller sized deli cup to keep your gecko from moving around too much on its journey.
We can hold a gecko until shipping temps and weather conditions are good on our end, the receiving end, and the main shipping hubs at no charge. At this time we do not offer winter holds that can last months.
If you are on a payment plan, the payment will need to be completed within our one month agreement and paid in full before shipping.
If you are picking an animal up from us either at a reptile show or a meeting place, please arrange this before making your purchase.
**IF we have a box that has been used to ship an animal out to us, we will try to reuse that box if the box structure and foam is in perfect condition. We do not do this to be cheap but to avoid putting it into the trash. We recycle whenever possible. These will not be from WC animals!
Live Arrival Guarantee
NOTE!! This will be STRICTLY enforced!!!!

Gecko Haven has a live arrival guarantee for your new pet.
In order for this to be valid, you must email us within a half hour of your animals arrival.
You must provide us with the code that is written on the bottom of the deli cup for your guarantee to be activated.
If we are not emailed with that code within that half hour time frame, your live arrival and 7 day health guarantee will be void.
There are no exceptions to this.
We provide a sticker on top of the deli cup to remind you to do this!
Arrival time will be shown on your tracking information that FedEx provides. Delivery must be accepted on first attempt for any guarantee to be in place.
When shipping for hold at a FedEx location we anticipate our customer to be there when that location opens for business.
If you can't be there at the 9-10 am opening time we need to be notified prior to shipping.
*No guarantees will be honored unless notified prior.
If your animal is DOA, photo proof must be provided immediately. We have never had this happen, but it does on occasion happen in the industry. If for some reason your new animal would arrive deceased, we will need to be contacted within that half hour of your animals arrival. We ask that photos be provided from a few different angles so we can verify this is our animal. A full credit will be issued that can be put towards a live animal purchase. This is provided all of the above was followed and there was no carrier delay. There is no expiration date on this credit.
We are not responsible for carrier delays or loss of package. We will do our best to work out something in this situation but a refund will not be possible. No cash value or guarantee for contest/promotional or auction geckos. Basically if you did not purchase the animal, there is no cash value for a refund/credit.
* Note we offer live arrival to DDI or other exporter here in the States. We do not offer guarantee when shipping from DDI or another exporter to Hamm or overseas. Once the animal arrives at the shipping location here in the States, they are no longer under our control and there is no guarantee. Please understand this when purchasing and shipping overseas! If you have any questions, please contact us.
Health Guarantee
We offer a seven day health guarantee when ordering online for an order here in the States. In order for this to be valid, you must have emailed us within a half hour of your animals arrival. You must have provided us with the code that was written on the bottom of the deli cup for your guarantee to be activated. If we were not emailed with that code within that half hour time frame, your live arrival and 7 day health guarantee will be void.

If you are experiencing a problem or concern with your gecko, please contact us immediately to initiate the guarantee. Gecko Haven is always available to answer your questions or to help in any way that we can. If an animal should expire within that 7 day time period, we may need a letter from a veterinarian stating cause of death as well as that photo evidence. If Gecko Haven and our care was at fault we will issue a full credit towards any live animal purchase This credit has no expiration date. If during the shipping process a gecko happens to lose their tail, compensation can not be made. This is something that happens on occasion. This will not affect the health of your gecko. Please contact us and we can offer care instructions.
Sexing/Tail loss/Color
Sex is not guaranteed unless the ad is listing that animal as male or female.
No pores seen or possible pores seen will not guarantee sex of that animal. We check for pores when the ad is initially placed. Once an animal is sold, pores are no longer checked. The animal is sold as advertised, M/F/No pores/Possible pores.
** If an animal is sold as not having pores and there is a delay for shipping due to weather or payment plan, once delivery time comes and it shows pores, there is no guarantee as it was not guaranteed or sold as a sexed animal. No refunds or cancellations.
We do strive to have accurate colors show in our ads. However each phone and computer can show those colors differently. We do not offer refunds or credits based on color difference. Dalmatians are mostly shown in their unfired states to show the spots better. We try to get fired up photos as well. Any questions please ask prior to purchase.
Tails can't be guaranteed during shipping. It can happen a gecko could lose a tail with stress of shipping. Tail loss is not covered.
Deposits, Payments and Payment Plans
If you need a short term hold on an animal that would be for a week or less we can set that up for you with a 20% deposit.
Payment plans are accepted for a one month term only. Payment plans require thirty percent down (30%) and payoff within that month time frame.
* If you cancel your payment plan and refuse animal once you have made a deposit you will forfeit that deposit.
If the agreed upon plan is not followed through with, we will send out an email or message asking for the plan to be followed. If no response or the situation is not resolved within a two (2) week time frame of the request for resolution, the gecko will be resold, your deposit of thirty percent will be forfeited and your remaining payments made if any, will be held for one year as a store credit. After that one year if no animal is purchased that credit is forfeited.
*Payment plans may or may not be available depending on a particular situation or animal involved or time of year.
Please make sure you are ready to commit when you send your deposit or payment!
Shipping must take place within a month of payment being received in full. Weather can and does affect this policy and we will happily hold your animal until proper shipping temps are available.
